DMI Pro digital marketing course: what the 9 modules cover, how the exam works and what it costs
DMI Pro, the Digital Marketing Institute's Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing, is a self-paced online course for beginners and working marketers who want a broad, exam-based digital marketing credential.
It has nine modules, from AI tools and content to SEO, paid search, email, analytics and strategy, with about 22 hours of material and a two-hour exam at the end.
DMI is an Irish company, but it sells the course to US learners in US dollars. When we checked on September 30, 2026, the US list price was $2,175, and a limited-time 30% discount showed $1,523. A US-only version adds the American Marketing Association's PCM in Digital Marketing.
This is an independent guide and is not affiliated with DMI or the AMA. It explains what the course covers, how the exam, refund window and payment terms work, and who may be better served elsewhere.

Check before you decide
- DMI is based in Ireland and processes payments there, so your card may add foreign transaction fees.
- The credential is a professional certification with a UK credit rating, not US college credit or a degree.
- The 14-day refund window starts on the purchase date, not on the day you begin studying.
- About 22 hours across nine topics is an overview. The pay and promotion figures on DMI's pages come from its own surveys and are not a promise.
